Thank you! Curtain closed on the 23rd African Dance and Drum Conference

Thank you, Atlanta community and beyond for contributing to the success of the 23rd annual conference (April 29 to May 1st) hosted at the Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta-Buckhead.

Thank you, awesome dance and drum instructors for making this year back-in-person a memorable one for our participants.

Thank you, Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta- Buckhead throught Ms. Princess for the opportunity to host the conference there.

Thank you, Fulton County Arts and Culture and the board of commissioners, Georgia Council for the Arts, the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, the Atlanta Mayor's Office, South Arts, Little Five Points Community Center, and Volume through Ben Holst for your continued support.

Honoring Assane Konte fron the Kankouran company

Honoring Papa Assane Konte the "Godfather" of the Manga African Dance & Drum Conference. Papa Assane, a guiding light and inspiration since the inception of theconference in 1999. "In everyone's life, at some time, ourinner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by anencounter with another human being. We should all bethankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit.” – Albert Schweitzer
